A Caregiver’s Heart

A Doula’s Presence.
A Mother’s Wisdom.

I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to become a doula.

I was born in Venezuela and raised by women who taught me that care is sacred. After immigrating to the U.S., I spent over 10 years offering in-home care for elderly clients in Washtenaw County. In those living rooms and hospital rooms, I learned to listen deeply, advocate fiercely, and meet people where they are—with respect and presence.

Then came the pandemic. I became a mother during COVID, navigating pregnancy and postpartum in a healthcare system that often forgets people like me. It was isolating—but it awakened something in me.

I knew I wanted to do more.

Today, I’m a nursing student on the path to becoming a midwife. Along the way, I became a certified doula through Birthworkers of Color and immersed myself in the world of birth justice, ancestral traditions, and the many ways different cultures prepare for birth, parenting, and healing.

Now, I walk beside you—with lived experience, clinical training, and a deep commitment to your voice, your body, and your story.

Our Promise to You

When we work together, you can expect:

  • Culturally grounded, trauma-informed care

  • Support that honors your identity, language, and choices

  • Clear communication and no judgment—ever

  • A plan that works for your family, not someone else's

  • A calm presence through it all—whether we’re preparing for labor or navigating the fourth trimester

What It Feels Like to Work With Us

The First-Time Mom With a Million Questions

You’re 34 weeks pregnant and feeling overwhelmed. What’s a birth plan? What will the hospital allow? What if you forget everything when contractions start?
We hop on a call. I break it all down in plain language. You get clear on your rights, your preferences, and your options. You hang up feeling grounded, and even excited.

The Postpartum Mom With a Baby on Her Chest and Tears in Her Eyes

It’s 2 weeks after birth. You’re healing, exhausted, unsure if you’re “doing it right.” You text me. I check in with you, gently guide you through feeding, sleep, and how to ask for help. You feel seen. You feel held. And for the first time in days, you feel like yourself again.

The Partner Who Wants to Help But Doesn’t Know How

You’re not the one giving birth, but you want to show up strong. We meet for a prenatal session. I teach you how to offer physical comfort, emotional support, and how to advocate during labor. You leave knowing exactly what to do—and how much your presence matters.

Venezuelan | Professional Caregiver | Nursing Student | Full-Spectrum Doula | Mother | Daughter | Sister | Friend

I’m a proud Latina mother, doula, and nursing student. My journey into birth work began when I gave birth to my daughter—an experience that opened my eyes to the deep gaps in maternal care, especially for people of color and immigrants like me.

As a full-spectrum doula, I support all reproductive experiences through a lens of reproductive justice and cultural humility. My background as a caregiver for over a decade and my current nursing studies help me care for families with both heart and clinical understanding.

Whether you’re preparing for birth, healing postpartum, or just trying to feel seen in a system that often overlooks us—I’m here to remind you: you are powerful, and you are not alone.

Venezuelan | Professional Nanny |Full-Spectrum Doula | Mother | Sister | Friend

I was born in Colombia and raised in Venezuela by my grandmother: a traditional midwife who supported hundreds of women in our community. I grew up listening to stories about her care for mothers with strength, gentleness, and wisdom passed down through generations. That early exposure shaped the way I view birth: not just as a biological process, but as a sacred, community-centered experience.

Now, as a professional nanny with decades of experience and a mother of three, I continue her legacy in my own way—by supporting families through birth, postpartum, and newborn care with compassion, patience, and cultural understanding.

Whether it’s caring for a newborn, nurturing a postpartum mother, or simply listening with an open heart, I bring the same values I was raised with: respect, warmth, and love. This work is not just what I do—it’s who I am.
